Backlog and CGPA eligibility for TCS NQT and placements
For TCS NQT (2024–2026 batches), the company’s own page says no pending backlog at the time of the test and at least 60% (or the equivalent CGPA) in Class 10, 12 and graduation. TCS’s NQT FAQ converts CGPA by multiplying by 10, so on that rule a 6.5 CGPA counts as 65% and meets the 60% line; a pending backlog, even one, does not meet TCS’s rule. Other companies differ, and some use your university’s own conversion — check their page for your batch.
CGPA 6.5 hai kya Accenture ke liye eligible hu?
It depends on the job listing. Accenture’s campus portal says eligibility depends on each listing and is sent by email to those eligible. Many Accenture mass-recruiter listings ask for 60% or its CGPA equivalent. If the listing converts CGPA × 10, 6.5 is 65% and meets a 60% line; if it uses your university’s formula, check your conversion certificate — (CGPA − 0.75) × 10, for example, gives 57.5%, below 60%. A 65% line depends on the listing’s wording. Check that listing before you count on it.
1 backlog hai kya TCS NQT de sakta hu pls batao sir
For the 2024–2026 NQT batches, TCS’s page says no pending backlog when you take the test and that the course must have finished in its normal duration. That means a backlog you have already cleared and that shows as passed on your marksheet is not a pending backlog; a backlog still pending at test time is not allowed. A gap in education of at most 24 months is allowed and must be declared.
Source: TCS’s All India NQT hiring page on tcs.com, checked on 20 October 2026; the same rules (“No pending backlog will be permitted at the time of appearing for the TCS selection process”) appear in TCS’s NQT 2026 notice as circulated by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, checked on 25 October 2026. Rules can change with the next drive.

Questions
CGPA 6.5 hai kya Accenture ke liye eligible hu?
Accenture’s eligibility depends on each job listing. Many listings ask for 60% or its CGPA equivalent. If the listing converts CGPA × 10, 6.5 is 65% and meets a 60% line; if it uses your university’s formula, check your conversion certificate, because some formulas give less (for example (CGPA − 0.75) × 10 = 57.5%). A 65% line depends on the listing’s wording. Check that listing.
1 backlog hai kya TCS NQT de sakta hu pls batao sir
For the 2024–2026 NQT batches, TCS’s page says no pending backlog when you take the test. A cleared backlog that shows as passed is not pending; a pending one is not allowed. Rules can change with the next drive, so check the page for your batch.
CGPA 6.5 hai off campus kaise apply karu service based companies me
On a ×10 scale, 6.5 is 65%, but check whether the drive uses ×10 or your university’s formula (your conversion certificate). Then register on each company’s own portal (TCS NQT, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture) and on AMCAT/eLitmus for off-campus pulls. Then practise aptitude, basic coding and communication.
What is an “active backlog”?
A pending backlog — a subject you have not yet cleared at the time of the test. See 60% criteria and backlog rules.
Does a cleared backlog affect shortlisting?
It depends on the company and the drive. As of October 2026, TCS’s and Wipro’s rules are about pending backlogs: TCS allows none pending at the test, and Wipro’s pages allow one pending at assessment if you clear it by the final semester. Neither sets a rule against a backlog you have already cleared, but a drive can still ask about your history. For others, the offer letter or drive page decides — check your drive notice.
